Emmanuel has over 25 years in investment and financial markets experience primarily in funds management and investment research. He has in-depth knowledge of investment market operations across all asset classes including equities, fixed interest, property, alternative assets and cash.

His previous roles included Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of OptiMiz, the multi manager unit of ANZ/OnePath, previously ING Investment Management. He held the CIO role between 1995 and 2013.

Emmanuel’s CIO role included manager selection, macro-economic analysis and implementation, asset allocation, risk management, investment committee policy formulation, business development and business management.

Emmanuel will share his key market insights and dive into the start of the 2022 year, the ongoing pandemic, the Ukraine situation, the focus on rising interest rates, and what it all means for markets and investments for the remainder of the year and beyond.
